Elise Markel
Elise is a graduate of Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She also holds a Master of Arts from the University of San Francisco. Her professional experience includes work as a trusted advisor with C+ level executives at companies including Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks. She has 25+ years of marketing communications experience. She has successfully driven the execution of executive platforms and communication strategies and has provided external communications on behalf of the executives including written announcements, videos, presentations, keynotes and social media.
Elise is passionate about helping students achieve their dreams and assisting families navigate the college admissions process.
Nancy Shipp
Nancy is a graduate of Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She has 25+ years of experience in Corporate America focused on investor relations and financial and corporate communications. Her professional experience includes successfully leading investor relations and corporate communications departments for consumer oriented companies such as Blue Nile, Zulily, Einstein Bros. Bagels and Celestial Seasonings, managing the development of corporate messages as they grow from IPO to various stages of maturity.
Nancy’s strong belief in the power of education to change the trajectory of one’s life has fueled her passion for this industry. She enjoys working with a variety of students, helping them to identify their passions and areas for growth.
